Rawfusion Nutraceuticals Casestudy - Packaging & Brand Strategy

I met up with Amanda & Rowan at one of my outreach events I hosted in Newry. She was running a clinic called Inner Angel which also had cold-pressed juices and nutraceuticals branded in the same name and was looking into a direction to further scale the business.

The first thing we decided to work on was to split both the businesses. This idea was a difficult one, especially for an entrepreneur for whom their business is much like their baby. For Amanda, she never saw that coming as I remember our initial conversations were around website optimization and how to sell more using her existing setup.

But she saw the benefits and decided to proceed. I must also admit that this was one of the few instances where we got to arrive at a brand name rather quickly. Amanda & Rowan came up with the name during our brainstorming sessions and it clicked.

Note to entrepreneurs : If you are doing two business activities in two verticals( in this case one being a service offering & other being a product offering ), having same brand name for both isn’t the ideal scenario even if it might look logical

Once the name was finalized, we started to work on the brand design and what you see here is the first presentation we had.

Amanda wanted to follow suit with teel as the colour of the new brand but I insisted that it’s better to go colour neutral. Have the logo in black with the freedom of playing with any shades in the packaging.

It paid off! the packaging looked brilliant and it was time to move on with the eCommerce component.

Our timelines and plan had changed a lot by the end of it because of the lockdown kicking in. It wasn’t the best time to launch something like this but we had no choice to but proceed.

We initially focussed on getting Amanda’s existing clientele to buy from the new website and build awareness around the same.

The launch of such a new product requires an immense budget to get the required noise but it was also a question about the timing. We tried working on a few things with minimal budgets, bet it working with influencers or doing webinars.

More details on the work and the team involved can be found here.
