What’s next after Facebook & Twitter ?

“I Google myself all night” is/was Bio given by Arun Basil Lal on his Twitter account and those words always circulate in my head. An Era dominated by Internet & Technology, I the future where Success is no more about how money or position but about influence and power.

I had the opportunity to meet Mr.John Kuruvilla, founder & CEO of Taggle.com and I more than happy that I could acquaint with a person like him. The meeting resulted in a lot of “self introspection” for me and I am still thinking. The big thought for me after meeting him was “what’s next ?”,having started a venture on my own it was important that I answered that question before i could go ahead…

We are in a era where life moves so fast and things are so well connected, gone are the days when influence and power was of a limited reach. Now, all of this is accessible t anyone at any time. Internet has unlocked that very potential virtual door to power and influence. Now the first one to understand this need of the generation is the social networking giant-Facebook.
Facebook & Twitter both are based on the same lines but we seen Facebook going full aggressive about making a user feel his influence in his social network, his reach directly proportional to the number of friends he have and doing all that it takes to pamper a user that “this is it”. A virtual cocoon that it builds are both a mix of reality & virtual which has its own ambiguity a.k.a being influential in facebook has its way of fame but in reality very less of this “fame” is accounted.

But Facebook has done a brilliant job in making people addicted to the influence that it gives to a user. All its functionalities have been designed so well as to ensure that primary thing “social networking like crazy” . Its of course a fact that fame can be accounted as variables of the people you know and of the people whom you know and that’s what “Facebook” is built on.
The future is about ideas like these which gets connected to people, the future ain’t about big show offs and billboards. It’s all about interactions and cult marketing,an era has dawn which measure you by the way you are projected to the masses and such an era calls for ideas that are truly unique and out of the box and with that point un conclusively pondering my mind I am gonna ask myself everyday till i find the answer on”what’s next ? “

Get paid to Tweet !

Hey ,how am i looking in that photo ? Cool !! OK..just fooling around well just thought of sharing something useful.Just found out this cool site that pays for your Tweets. And they have my photo in their site..lol.. !

This is cool, you can actually make money from tweeting now. In a nutshell, advertisers pay you to tweet a message for them. I knew this market had opened up recently, but SponsoredTweets.com is the first service I’ve come across that actually looks like they know what they’re doing.

It connects tweeters with advertisers, and it allows both to set their prices and criteria for tweets. You sign-up by logging in with your twitter account, and then set your minimum amount per tweet. You also have the option to write messages in your own words. One of the things I like the most is that it rewards those that have invested in building a quality twitter following.

This really is a slick service, and it looks like they’re starting to sign up some big names too. I think I’ll be referring people to this service from now.

So, check it out and let me know how it goes..!
I’ve noticed that one doesn’t get offers to tweet straight away. One of the main reasons for this is the four month age requirement of the twitter account. Many people have only been using twitter for a few months. Unfortunately your twitter account has to be at least four months old for you to be visible to advertisers. There seems to be no way around this, but at the end of the day it’s probably a good thing on the long-run. My advice would be to sign-up for free anyway and start figuring out how the system works.
