When I passed out from college, I was quite directionless of which way to head. There was very little of plans and most importantly there wasn’t clarity of what i wanted to be. All i knew i want to make mark of myself in this world. As time went on, i got introduced to the idea of Entrepreneurship and these perspectives where a collection of experiences & insights from friends & organisations i have met. They have had inspired me to an extent that it did make a difference to the way i saw things. I have written about these companies in 10 innovative start-ups from Kerala.
Coming from a middle class family where high marks & huge salaries hold the key to existence and in my case having no earning member, made things quite difficult for me. Though this was the reality, it did not stop me from being foolish enough to start-up my first company. Though even while doing that, I was just flowing with that thought of foolishness. But it did pay me off, we had break even within 6 months and product did wonders for the company but ill fate that i finally had to move out from that org. Because i thought i had to do something bigger. And that’s how the idea of setting up India’s first web tv was born, though everyone around me did not consider it to be viable model I did cross all that logic to launch Indiavibes.
Now this is where the tricky part is, entrepreneurship is about crossing those hard realities out there. You need to fool your own perception of reality if you want to crack the code. There are situations where you quite feel that “is it really possible??”. Now while this question comes if you follow the path of your hard core logic & reality , then you will be soon quitters. Win or fail does not matter here but either way, either results the idea is it should be BIG !
Big enough success so that others will follow you or Big enough failure that you could master it the next time or probably just quit and go out & preach people about “Entrepreneurship” !

Life gives us lot of options when it comes to choosing the direction ahead. As a teenager you are told by your parents that work hard and get a good job. No one ever asks you to follow your Dream and become what we probably want to be. And may be for this reason we never think of anything more than a job with a 5 figure pay slip and all that corporate mumbo-jumbo. But then in between all this, there are people who start thinking of something of their own. Due to circumstances they just keep it buried somewhere inside their mind! But what’s the use of saying that we’re independent and a social being if we are to change according to our circumstances. Very few tread the path of becoming an entrepreneur. For me it happened by itself because I knew what I am capable of and didn’t want to waste my resources working for someone else. But one thing I learned and wish to share to everyone is that you will never get to your dream until you want it like anything. It’s like our natural reflexes; say if we are drowning in water we would fight for air till the very end. May be this is where most of them go wrong. Being an entrepreneur should never be your choice, it should be your compassion and your only walk in Life. Now the question is do you have that compassion in you. If the underneath mentioned points strike you somewhere I guess we would have our answer for that.
