Gameplan # 2: Confuse em

Now it’s obvious that every time we meet someone our mind try to analyze and build an image of the person. The image is purely based on firsthand experience or say like they say the” First Impression matters” and yes it does. But the fact is, the first impression technique is not all that great way to judge people though it’s like standard thing we all do.
So let’s just play with what’s been nice and standard so far, shall we ? Now the pre-assumed image is based on the body language we give out during the first meeting. So now we know where is the point of impression: the body language. Something we can control, something we can always manipulate. So what do we do with this ? we Confuse them. Make an effort that the person get confused about your body language in such a way that they really can’t assume anything about you. Now this is easy to do, I remember once being introduced to my friend’s classmate. At the first look she assumed that I one of those soft-spoken guy. Well,it was her unlucky day I guess but the first thing I told her was that her butt is beautiful…LOL..you should have seen the look on her face ! I am not saying we should be like an outcast and speak totally wild things, the point is to confuse them about your character so that they don’t conclude a image for you in the first meeting. That female still remembers our first meeting and we’re good friends now.
Now why this is effective is,once a person creates an image he or she is not bothered about what you are deep inside. But when you confuse them, you create curiosity enough to fuel the next meeting to be great experience. The next meeting, she or he will be so eager to understand you as if you’re case study topic for their final year exams.Give it a try,you will know…

My work involves meeting a lot of people and sharing my concept of how hospitality and retail business is evolving itself as we move forward. I have a very steadily rising client list and that means a lot of stories to share;good and bad.I would like to just share experiences about one my best client relationship i share, the team at Gokulam Park Inn,kaloor.
Being a Sarovar Portico has its tag may be,but what i truly adore is how the staff, each on of them has
understood the word meaning of Hospitality to its very core. From the GM to staff at the lowest level the way they treat you is really something we don’t find everywhere.Noe you might be thinking that all-star rated hotels have good guest relationships.yes,i agree but then being in hospitality business is not just about how you treat your guest alone, its more than that. Very a less people understand that;its like what our great Mahatma Gandhi had quoted that the real character of a person can be judged only by the way they behave to their subordinates or people below them in terms of class. Now i am not sure if that’s the exact quote but then we are all humans and we all value respect from people wherever we go.
May be you’re the guest, may be you are not,may be you came to do business, may be you came for an inquiry at the end of the day, hospitality is a business where you are supposed to treat everyone equals. From my very experience i have seen how people treat when it comes to a stand where we are not their guest. And believe me i have seen the worst scenarios too.
The bottom line is,in real terms Gokulam Park Inn and its team truly stands apart when it comes to beingcordial, professional in all regards. In my experience so far with lot of hospitality clients i have i would rate this as the best so far ! A big Kudos to the GM & the entire team !And of course Sarovar hotels & resorts.

Now i happened into bump into the meet the crew & we had few chit-chat something I would like to share about this young yet enthusiastic team ! And of course wish them the very best as they are near the smell of sweets uccess !

Had anyone of you ever dreamt of becoming an actor ?
Nivin: I always had a dream of becoming a part of this industry and I now consider it my fortune to have gained an entry with a group of talented youngsters led by Vineeth srinivasan.
Aju: though I had been a true movie lover since the time I know I never actually had a big dream of becoming an actor. So for me it was an opportunity converted to reality, than dreams come true. But it is something I would cherish all my life. Thanks to vineeth and the other members of crew.
Shraavan: yes I wished to become an actor. Watching the veteran actors perform on screen I always wished I too had a chance one day to see if I can also become an actor. That’s when I got this great opportunity in vineeth’s malarvadi arts club. As my first experience I do not know how far I have been a success as an actor but I would say as a team it was a splendid work experience, to be marked as the best ever.
Bhagath: I think any normal person of my age who watches movies will certainly have a dream of becoming an actor or a hero, I too dreamt. It was a dream nurtured in my heart for a long time until I came to know about the malarvadi project and its audition camp. After getting through the auditions and getting on to the camp and then the shooting it was all like a series of scenes I think I had once seen in my dreams.
Hari: like others even I had a dream to become an actor one day which came to reality through this beautiful project malarvadi arts club. It was a wonderful journey which I never expected in life but certainly a dream come true. Thanks to god and the crew.

How did you get to become a part of the “Malarvadi” team ?
Team: we got to know about the project first through newspapers and social networking sites. We all applied and later we came to know that there were around 6000 applications that were sent in. as told only 24 applications were shotlisted for a 3 day camp held at YMCA Alwaye. by the end of camp we 5 were shortlisted for the 5 lead roles and for the others Vineeth offered little role in the movie too. The moment we came to know that we were picked to enact the characters in the movie we were surprised, happy, proud and also a little tensed thinking of the huge responsibility, Vinneth rested on us believing our capabilities.
How was the experience working with a young and new director?
Team: Well we would say no newcomer could be this comfortable working in a movie. More than a director or writer or singer Vineeth was a dear friend to all of us. We could even say towards end of the movie he made us feel as if we were 6 brothers working together with just friends around. There were a lot of experienced artists working along with in the movie but then with their supports and most importantly the motivation given by vineeth throughout cannot be put into mere words. He has inspired us in many ways. We consider it a great and beautiful experience working with him and we could learn many things too.
Could you describe a little about the movie and your roles in the movie?
The story happens in a village called manashery in talasherry.the story revolves around 5 young men who grew up together since childhood. So when these 5 were kids they were in a children’s club. Growing up they took the club growing with them and later it became malarvadi arts club. All 5 are very dear to the people around and they actively involve in all issues of the people in their village. All are educated till college except kuttu who had to drop after failing in 10th.
Kuttu :The group is a mix of characters but very thick friends that they would do anything for each other. There is one strong and bold character then one who thinks a lot and one who has mixed emotions another one who is sensible. Another role played by kuttu is the actual reasons for the team getting into troubles. Kuttu brings a lot of humour to the story and quite often becomes the one to take the story forward.
How do you see the road ahead?
Team: As of now we don’t think we have become someone to decide our place in the industry. We love cinema and we will continue working our best in all ways possible. It’s the audience who will assess our performances and support us. Being aspiring beginners in this industry we will strive our best to go forward with the help and blessings of our seniors and technicians who have vast experience. Along with our hard work we think the blessings and support of everyone around matters a lot. Though we do not predict our roads ahead we could definitely say that to begin with we have got a very good start along with many experienced artists and technicians in the cinema industry, and what makes us even more happy and content is the fact that we could work with vineeth who is a very talented youngster yet to conquer many heights and millions of fans besides the ones he already has.
